
Ingredients
- 500gm cubed venison
- 2 carrots cut into rounds
- 2 medium potatoes into cubes
- 1 onion diced
- 540ml of water
- 1 tbsp oil for cooking
- 1 packet of Japanese Golden Curry
Method
- Heat oil in pan and quickly stir fry venison til browned on the outside, then remove from pan - about 2 minutes. Do not over cook meat as it will keep cooking when resting
- Add carrots, potatoes and onions to pan and fry for about 5 minutes
- Add water and bring to boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn heat off and add broken pieces of curry cubes into the pan. Stir until sauce has thickened.Add in cooked meat and stir through.
- Serve over rice, I use 90 second microwave rice to make it a quick meal.
