
Ingredients
- Sashimi grade tuna, 300g
- Sashimi grade salmon, 300g
- 1 carrot, peeled into ribbons
- Edamame beans, 100g
- 2 spring onions, chopped
- 2 sushi nori sheets
- Sushi rice, 250g
- Obento Sushi Seasoning, 30mL
- Half an avocado, sliced thinly
- Sesame seeds, 10g
- Soy sauce, 40mL
- Crushed ginger, 20g
- Japanese mayonnaise, 20mL
- Chilli sauce, 10mL
Method
- Cook the sushi rice and when done, combine with Obento Sushi Seasoning
- Marinate tuna and sushi with soy sauce, crushed ginger, spring onion and sesame seeds. Prepare Japanese mayonnaise and chilli sauce into a side sauce by combining.
- Layer the bowl with the sushi nori sheets. Place sushi rice on top. Place carrot, edamame beans, tuna and salmon on rice. Add avocado. Sprinkle spring onion and sesame seeds to garnish.
- Criss-cross Japanese mayonnaise and chilli sauce mixture on top to taste.
