
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon (peanut) oil
- 2 Squid tubes – rinse, patted dry & cut into rings,
- 1 teaspoon GF Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Fish Sauce
- 2 x Pizza Bases
- Half bottle of Tonkatsu Sauce
- 2 Cloves Garlic - diced
- 300 gm grated pizza cheese
- 1 red diced chilli or chilli flakes
- 4 Wombok cabbage leaves – sliced into 2cm strips
- 1 red capsicum - diced
- 2 shallots - diced
- Bonita flakes
- Optional extras – extra chopped chilli on top.
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 220 deg C.
- Heat oil in pan and saute squids rings for 2 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and fish sauce, then cook for further 1 minute.
- Drain & set aside.
- Put pizza bases on greased trays.
- Spread Tonkatsu sauce on pizza bases & sprinkle on garlic.
- Sprinkle 100gms of the cheese over each pizza base.
- Top with chilli, wombok, capsicum, half of the shallots
- Arrange half of the squid rings on each pizza and top with remaining cheese.
- Cook in oven for approx. 15 minutes until cheese melted and golden.
- Top with remaining shallots and very generous sprinkle of bonita flakes.
- Cut into slices with kitchen scissors and enjoy warm!
