
Ingredients
- 1 packet Obento sushi nori
- 2 cups Obento sushi rice
- 500g firm tofu
- 75 ml Obento teriyaki marinade (+ more to serve)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 avocado
- 1 cucumber (optional)
- 1 carrot (optional)
- S&B Wasabi (optional)
- Obento yakitori sauce (optional)
Method
- Put the rice on to cook
- Heat up a large frying pan to a high temperature then put in the tofu, cut up in 3cm x 1cm x 1cm pieces
- Drizzle over the honey and teriyaki marinade, then reduce temperature to moderate
- Prepare the optional vegetables by grating the carrot and slicing the cucumbers into small rectangular slices
- Once the rice and tofu are cooked, place into separate bowls
- Now form the sushi rolls by putting some cooled down rice onto a sheet of nori, then placing slices of avocado on that. Then put the marinated tofu and other optional vegetables on and wrap it up. Repeat this step for as many rolls you desire.
- Serve with extra teriyaki marinade, yakitori sauce and wasabi to dip with, and enjoy!
