
Ingredients
- 1.5kg Beef
- 1cup beef stock
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin seasoning
- 1/4 cup Sake
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp grated ginger
- Sesame seeds and shallots to serve
Method
- Heat oil in fry pan over medium heat. Add beef cook 10mins turning regularly and transfer to slow cooker
- Place stock, soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, garlic and ginger in a jug. Stir to dissolve sugar. Pour over beef. Cover and cook on low for 8 hrs until very tender
- Transfer beef to large plate use 2 forks to shred. Return beef to slow cooker to cover in sauce. Divide beef into bowls sprinkle with sesame seeds and shallots. Serve with rice
