
Ingredients
- 3 Garlic bulbs, chopped finely
- 1 inch Ginger, peeled & chopped finely
- Brown onion, peeled & sliced
- Peanut oil 2 tspn
- Chopped vegetables such as Carrot, Broccolini, Mushrooms, Capsicum 2-3 cups
- Sliced protein 500g - Beef, Chicken or Prawns
- ABC Sweet Soy Sauce 2 tblsp
- Oyster Sauce 2 tblsp
- Hokkien Noodles packet cooked according to packet
- 1 tblsp corn flour mixed with 1 tblsp oyster sauce and 200ml water
- 1/2 red chilli, chopped, optional
- Sesame seeds or Cashews, optional
- Salt, pinch
Method
- Heat oil in pan. Brown together ginger, garlic & chilli for about 30 secs over medium heat.
- Add onion & saute about 1-2 mins over medium heat. Add pinch of salt.
- Add protein to pan (in 2 batches) & brown till cooked to your liking, set aside.
- Add ABC sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce and stir in hard vegetables gently for about 3 mins.
- While the vegetables are sauteing cook noodles according to packet.
- Set pan to low, add cooked noodles, browned protein with onion. Add mixture of corn flour with sauce. Gently mix for 2mins.
- Just before serving add the capscium and broccoilini.
- Optional- sesame seeds or Cashews scattered on top (you may prefer Cashews added with cornflour mixture)
