
Ingredients
- 600g Chicken Drumettes
- 15 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Small Sliced Ginger
- 1 Cup Fresh Thai Basil
- 1/3 Cup Light Soy Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Obento Rice Wine
- 1/3 Cup Yeo's Pure Sesame Oil
- 3 Tbsp Rock Sugar
- 3 Bird's Eye Chillies
Method
- Heat oil in wok and cook garlic cloves and sliced ginger for 1 minute.
- Add chicken drumettes and cook for about 10 minutes ensuring chicken is brown on all sides.
- Stir in sauce ingredients, simmer for 20 minutes for sauce to thicken ensuring a velvety coat around the chicken.
- Add basil and let simmer for two minutes with the lid of wok on.
- Dish and serve with rice.
