
Ingredients
- 3 cubes Golden curry mixture
- 2 table spoons Mango chutney
- 2 Carrots
- 1/2 Onion
- 2 Potatoes
- 2 Rump steaks
- 2 cups of Water (less or more to cover your ingredients)
- 2 Tbs Olive oil
Method
- Dice carrots, potato and rump steak, cut onion into thick wedges for additional texture
- Add 2tbs of olive oil to a saucepan
- Add the steak to the pan and cook for 4 mins or until browned
- Add vegetables to the pan and cook until the onions are nice and caramelised. Add 2 heaped tablespoons of mango chutney and stir to coat ingredients.
- Add 2 cups of water to your pan or enough to cover all your ingredients. Simmer on low heat for 8 minutes - stirring regularly to ensure ingredients don’t stick to the pan. Tip: you can cover the pan to steam your vegetables quicker.
- Skim extra bits of meat and gunk off the top of the saucepan until broth is clean.
- Add 3 cubes of Golden Curry, stirring until thick and fully dissolved and all of the ingredients are covered.
- Serve with steamed rice for a delicious, heart warming meal!
