
Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked Sushi rice rinsed well under cold water
- 3 tablespoons Obento sushi seasoning
- 1 Tin of tuna in springwater
- 1x carrot finely grated
- 1/2 avocado
- 1.5 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 3x nori sheets. 1 sheey shredded the other 2 sliced into strips
- Teaspoon soy sauce
Method
- Bring 1 cup of sushi rice in 1.5cups of water to a boil then simmer for 15 or until cooked. Cool slightly in a glass or wooden bowl
- Add 3 tablespoons of the obento sushi seasoning to the cooked rice and mix well to combine.
- In a bowl mash the Tuna, shredded nori sheet, avocado, grated carrot, sesame seeds, soy sauce and Kewpie mayo until well combined
- When the rice is cool enough to handle add it to the Tuna mix and combine well
- Roll mixture into tablespoon sized balls and wrap with a nori strip
- Either eat as you make them or place in the fridge for 20 minutes until fully cooled
