
Ingredients
- Sushi rice
- Sugar
- Salt
- Rice wine vinegar
- Obento nori sheets
- Carrot
- Cucumber
- Capsicum
- Soy sauce (to serve)
Method
- Prepare your sushi rice as instructed on the package.
- Once cooked, mix in 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon or salt and 3 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar per 1 cup of rice (before cooked). Chill rice for 30 minutes, or until cool.
- While rice is chilling, slice vegetables into thin slices.
- Once rice is cooled, lay one sheet of Obento nori sheets onto your sushi roller, then add a thin layer of rice, avoiding the top edge. Add desired toppings, then roll it up, and seal the top edge with water.
- Cut if desired, serve with soy sauce.
