
Ingredients
- 500g pork mince
- 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
- 1tbs basil paste (or small handful of finely chopped fresh basil)
- 1-3 long chillies (depending on how spicy you like it)
- 1tbs oyster sauce
- 1tbs fish sauce
- 1 small tin of sliced bamboo shoots
- (Olive, peanut or rice oil for cooking)
- Served with rice (goes great with jasmine or long grain white rice)
Method
- Put rice on to cook via desired method
- Heat a small amount of oil in a medium pan and cook pork mince until starting to brown.
- Combine the oyster sauce, fish sauce and basil with the mince.
- Stir through the vegetables and cover with a lid until the carrot is tender
- Serve with your cooked rice and optional garnish of basil.
