
Ingredients
- 500g beef mince
- 400g green beans
- 3 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoon kecap manis
- 8 teaspoon sambal oelek
- 2 servings of Hokkien noodles
- 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 brown onion
- 1 garlic clove finely minced
Method
- Mix the sauces in a bowl
- Cook the noodles according the packet instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoon of the vegetable oil in a pan until it’s smoking. Add the green beans until lightly charred. Place the beans into a bowl and leave aside.
- On high heat, heat the remaining vegetable oil in a pan on high heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add the beef mince and use a wooden spoon to break it up in the pan. Add 2 tablespoon of the sauce and mix. Add the noodles, green beans and the remaining sauce. Toss the noodles ensuring it caramelises and is covered in sauce. Serve.
