
Ingredients
- Sushi rice
- Obento Yaki nori for sushi
- Smoked salmon
- Sliced carrot
- Sliced cucumber
- kewpie mayonnaise
- Obento Sushi seasoning
- Sesame seeds
Method
- Prepare sushi rice according to pack instructions. While rice is cooking, finely slice the cucumber and carrot and set aside.
- Once rice has cooked, add desired amount of sushi seasoning and mix well.
- Lay a sheet of yaki nori shiny side down on a sushi rolling mat and place about 3/4 cup of the cooked rice in the middle, carefully flattening and spreading it out to cover three quarters of the nori sheet - leave an inch along an edge to help hold the rolled nori together.
- Place carrot, cucumber and chunks of salmon in a line along the centre of the rice. Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a drizzle of Kewpie mayonnaise.
- Roll the sushi into a firm log trying to keep your ingredients in the centre of the roll and slice into bite size pieces. Enjoy!
