
Ingredients
- Sesame oil
- 500g lean beef mince
- 1.5 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 2 medium carrots, grated
- 1 can Valcom water chestnuts, sliced
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbs oyster sauce
- 2 tbs kecap manis
- 100g vermicelli noodles
- Iceberg lettuce leaves
- Sesame seeds
Method
- Prepare the vermicelli noodles according to packet instructions then chop. Heat sesame oil in wok over high heat, then add mince. Use a wooden spoon to break apart chunks of mince.
- Once mince is browned, add garlic, ginger, carrot, water chestnuts and stir fry for a few minutes.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and kecap manis and stir fry for another 2-3 minutes
- Remove from heat and add vermicelli.
- Serve in lettuce cups and sprinkle within sesame seeds.
