
Ingredients
- 500g chicken mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 iceberg lettuce, halved
- 1 cucumber, sliced into ribbons
- 1 carrot, peeled and grated
- 2 celery sticks, diced
- 2 cups bean sprouts
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tsp ginger, grated
- 227g can of Valcom water chestnut slices
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 red chili, sliced
Method
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Stir fry onion and celery for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger, fry for 1 minute.
- Add mince, fry until cooked.
- Add water chestnuts, oyster sauce and soy sauce, fry for 1 minute.
- Serve in a bowl: lettuce leaves, mince mixture, carrot, cucumber, bean sprouts. Top with chili.
