
Ingredients
- 3-4 Medium Ripe Bananas
- 1 Cup Bento Tempura Batter Mix
- 180ml Cold Water/ Cold Soda Water
- 1/4 Cup White Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- Pinch of Salt
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
- Berries, icing sugar and ice cream to serve
Method
- Preheat oil to 190 degrees in a medium sized pot.
- Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl and combine. Add the water and stir through gently and only until fully incorporated (be careful not to over mix).
- Cut Banana into preferred size and coat in wet mixture. Slowly add bananas to the oil and fry until golden brown. Move the bananas regularly to avoid sticking.
- Set aside to cool, then serve with preferred accompaniments. ENJOY!!!!
- Traditional Balinese Pisang Goreng is often served with cheese. Add some to your serve to experience the authentic flavour.
