
Ingredients
- Obento sushi nori
- Sushi rice
- Obento Sushi vinegar
- Smoked Salmon
- Ripe Avocado (sliced)
- Soy sauce to serve (optional)
- Wasabi to serve (optional)
- Pickled ginger to serve (optional)
Method
- Cook 1.5cup of sushi rice in rice cooker
- Cool down cooked sushi rice in seperate bowl before adding vinegar.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sushi vinegar into the sushi rice mix. Mix well to ensure flavour is throughout rice.
- Lay sushi nori shiny side down onto sushi bamboo mat to prepare the sushi making.
- Spread sushi rice mix over 65% of the nori leaving an empty 2cm gap on side closest to you.
- Add salmon and avocado onto the rice, laying it evenly across the nori horizontally.
- Roll sushi carefully, applying slight pressure to keep it in a cylinder shape.
- Cut in half, and serve as two rolls or smaller rolls if desired.
