
Ingredients
- Rice
- Mince
- Bok choy
- Oyster Sauce
- Carrot
- Brown sugar
- Garlic
- Kewpie mayonnaise
- Olive butter
- Sesame seeds optional
Method
- Finely chop garlic.Roughly chop bok choy (or any Asian greens), cut carrot into sticks. Set aside.
- In a large pot over a medium heat add a teaspoon of olive butter. Add most of the garlic, keeping a small amount aside, and cook until fragrant. Add rice and water and bring to the boil. Once boiling, lower heat to low and cover for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes, remove from heat and leave covered until remaining water is absorbed.
- While rice is cooking, in a large pan on medium-high heat, add carrots and a dab of olive butter. Stir carrots until soft, add Asian greens until soft. Remove from heat.
- In the same pan, add mince. Cook until brown. Stir in oyster sauce and brown sugar, mix until thickened.
- Layer bowl, rice, vegetable, mince. Top with Kewpie mayonnaise and sprinkle with Sesame seeds.
