
Ingredients
- Soy sauce
- Cooking sake
- Brown sugar
- Kewpie mayonnaise
- Salmon fillets
Method
- Mix 2 tbsp cooking sake, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tbsp water to make a marinade and add salmon to marinade for 5 minutes
- Preheat bbq then place salmon skin side down first and bbq, flipping after about 6 minutes. Brush on remaining marinade while cooking.
- Take off bbq and drizzle over kewpie mayo before serving.
- Serve with steamed rice and veggies (we went for a slaw and pumpkin simmered in sake, soy and dashi)
