
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken thigh
- 1 Avocado
- Half of a Cucumber
- 5 tbsp Cornflour
- One cup Canola Oil
- Half cup Kewpie Mayo
- Wasabi to taste
- X 6 Seaweed paper
- Tonkatsu Sauce to taste
- Soy Sauce to taste
- 2 cups rice
- 6 tbsp sushi vinegar
- Or buy sushi kit!
Method
- Turn stove to medium and heat oil in a large pot
- Tinder rice until water goes clear. Cook in rice cooker
- Slice chicken into thing strips and once oil is hot enough (use chopstick, if bubbles it is ready) add chicken to pot (5-6 mins)
- While chicken is cooking, slice avocado and cucumber into thin strips
- Once rice cool add sushi vinegar and apply a medium layer through middle section of paper
- Build sushi roll with chicken strip, avocado, cucumber, Mayo, wasabi and tonkatsu
- Roll sushi using water to seal then cut into 8 even slices
- Dip into wasabi and soy sauce at your pleasure!
