
Ingredients
- Lettuce leaves
- 1 minced garlic clove
- Half a finely chopped onion
- 1 large carrot diced small
- 50g Valcom water chestnut slices (halved)
- 300g lean minced pork
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Derive "cups" from your fresh lettuce. Rinse and drain.
- Heat a few drops of oil in a pan and stir fry garlic, onion and carrot for 60 seconds
- Add pork, salt and pepper and stirfry for 2 minutes
- Add 40mL of water and simmer (covered) for 60 seconds.
- Add Valcom brand water chestnuts and give a quick stir, then add Lee Kum Kee San Choy Bao ready sauce (100g) and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Spoon pork mix into lettuce cups and enjoy! Classic san choy bao....take a bow!
