- 1 tbsp hot water.
- 2 tbsp ABC sweet soy sauce.
- 1 tsp rice vinegar.
- 1 tsp chilli oil.
- 1 tsp garlic (minced).
- 1 tsp sesame oil.
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds.
- 2 tbsp kewpi mayo.
- 1 tsp sriracha.
- Kewpi sesame dressing.
- Scallions (shallots).
Method
- In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar and salt, then add the vegetable oil and the water as you mix.
- Mix the dough together until combined. Once combined kneed the dough to make it smooth.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- Chop the scallions (shallots) with scissors into a small bowl and add 1 tsp oil.
- With an oiled rolling pin, roll the pieces of dough into thin rectangles and spread the scallion mixture onto the dough. Roll the dough into a tube so that the filling is inside.
- Twist the dough into a spiral and flatten with washed hands or an oiled rolling pin. Pan fry the pancakes until golden brown and serve hot.
- To create sauce one, in a bowl add 1 tsp of sriracha for every 2 tbsp of kewpi mayo.
- Sauce two is 1 tsp sugar dissolved in 1 tbsp of hot water. In the bowl add 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp rice vinegar (or malt), 1 tsp chilli oil, 1 tsp garlic (minced), 1 tsp sesame oil and 1/2 sesame seeds.
- Sauce three is as much kewpi Japanese sesame dressing as you like!
