
Ingredients
- 2 packets of udon noodles
- Handful dried shitake mushrooms
- 3 Tbs butter
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 Tbs gochujang
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- Sliced spring onion
- Sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Method
- Soak udon noodles and shitake mushrooms in boiling water to soften.
- Add butter to a hot pan and fry shitake mushrooms and garlic until browned.
- Add cream, gochujang, soy sauce and sugar and simmer to thicken slightly. Add some noodle soaking water to sauce if required.
- Add drained udon noodles to pan and top with spring onions and sesame seeds.
- Enjoy!
