
Ingredients
- 1 packet of Obento Udon Noodles
- 2 pieces of S&B Golden Curry (any heat level as you prefer)
- 1/2 Carrot, cut to bite size
- 1tsp Obento Cooking Sake
- 1 tsp Obento Mirin Seasoning
- 1 tsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Chicken/Vegetable stock powder
- 300ml Water
- 1 tsp Corn flour, mix in 1tbsp water (as you like thicker soup)
- Spring onion for topping
Method
- Peel and cut carrot to bite size, place in microwave-safe bowl, loosely cover with cling wrap and heat for 2-3 minutes on medium (500w) for reducing cooking time.
- In a saucepan, place water, sake, mirin, soy sauce, and stock powder and bring to boil.Add carrot.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add curry roux one at time, and melt in water completely.
- Add udon noodles, and simmer 3-4 minutes. If you prefer thicker soup, add corn flour mixture.
- Serve in a bowl, top with spring onion.
