
Ingredients
- 2 Cup of cooked sushi rice
- 4-6 Tbsp Obento sushi seasoning
- 1 Cooked Chicken schnitzel - cut into 1 cm strips
- Cucumber - cut lengthwise thinly
- Kewpie
- Obento yaki nori for sushi
Method
- Gradually pour sushi seasoning to the rice while gently folding to combine, use wooden paddle.
- Place a yaki nori sheet on a shusi mat, shiny-side down. Use wet hands to spread the rice over the nori sheet, leaving a 4 cm-wide border along the edge furthest away from you.
- Place schnitzel strip and cucumber along the centre of the rice. Squeeze kewpie on the top. Hold in place while rolling the mat over to enclose rice and filling. Repeat with the remaining nori, rice, schnitzel and cucumber.
- Use a sharp knife to slice sushi widthways into desired thick slices. Place on serving dishes with soy sauce, wasabi and pickle ginger, if desired.
