Currumbin Creek Chilli Crab

Ingredients

• 2 mud crabs
• Red Curry Paste
• 1 bottle of Passata
• Noodles

Method

1. Put crab pots in Currumbin Creek, if you are lucky you might get at least 2 legal crabs. Place crabs in ice to put to sleep, then cook in hot salted water for 8 -12 minutes depending on size. Otherwise buy 2 mudcrabs.
2. Clean crabs and break into serving pieces and hit with knife handle to crack for easier eating.
3. mix curry paste with passata and pour over crabs.
4. Serve with noodles.
