
Ingredients
- Obento sushi rice
- Obento rice wine
- Obento Yaki nori
- Cucumber
- Mayonnaise
- Soy sauce for serving.
Method
- Rinse 1 cup of sushi rice until water runs clear. Then cook rice in 3 cups of water for approximately 12min
- One cooked, allow rice to cool completely then add 2tbsp of rice wine vinager and gently stir through
- Lay out yaki nori on bamboo mat or tea towel and put a thin layer of rice covering all but 2cm of the end. Place cucumber and a light drizzling of mayonaise in the center of rice.
- Roll tightly with mat or tea towel.Cut to desired lengths and serve with soy sauce.
