
Ingredients
- 6 quails spatchcocked
- 2 tbs Light soy sauce
- 2 tbs sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp fine white pepper
- 2 tbs Lee Kum Kee char siu sauce
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp ginger grated
- 1 tbs rice wine vinegar
- Juice of 1 orange (1/4 cup)
Method
- Put all marinade ingredients in a bowl and thoroughly combine with quail and let marinade for at least 15 - 30 minutes or better overnight.
- To cook the quail preheat the air fryer at 185c for 5 minutes. Place half quail in the basket and cook for 10-12 minutes or until cooked (turn halfway). Repeat for cook process for the remainder of the quail batch. Immediately serve and enjoy!
