
Ingredients
- 1 pack Obento ramen noodles
- 120g BBQ pork
- 1 pack Lee Kum Kee Pork Bone Soup Base
- 1 egg
- ½ cup brown onion
- 1 tsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
- 400ml chicken stock
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee premium Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Squid brand fish sauce
- ½ cup shallots (garnish)
- 1 tbsp pickled ginger (garnish)
- ¼ cup red onion (garnish)
Method
- In a saucepan heat oil, add garlic, ginger, brown onion, and stir.
- Add 20g of finely chopped pork and stir. Deglaze pan with soy sauce, add soup mix, fish sauce, and stock.
- Simmer for 30-45 minutes, pass through tea strainer, and return to heat.
- Add egg to boiling water for 8 minutes then cool in cold water and peel.
- Rinse ramen noodles in cold water and place in bowl
- Add ramen noodles to bowl, ladle in stock, place in pork, and garnish with pickled ginger, two halves of the egg, shallot, and red onion. Serve hot.
