
Ingredients
- 1 head of broccoli
- 1 cup buttermilk (or milk/substitute + 1 tsp cider vinegar)
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 2 tsp sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise (or substitute)
- 2 tblsp sweet chilli sauce
- 2 cups panko
Method
- Combine mayonnaise and sweet chilli to make dressing . Thin with a little hot water, if desired.
- Combine milk, flours and sriracha to make batter.
- Cut broccoli into florets and stir into batter. Coat each floret with panko.
- Fry in batches until golden. Can be baked or air fried as a healthier option.
- Top cooked broccoli with dressing and garnish with chopped chives, green onion, or fresh chilli. Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
