
Ingredients
- 200gm Vegetables of your choice (e.g. cabbage, carrot, capsicum, spring onion)
- 1 x packet Mie Goreng noodles, including flavour sachets
- 1 x egg, lightly whisked
- ABC Kecap Manis
- Mayonnaise
- Fried onions
- Coriander (optional topping)
Method
- Finely cut up vegetables and saute until they have softened slightly.
- Meanwhile, place noodles in a heatproof bowl, cover with water and place in microwave for 4 min on high to cook.
- Remove noodles from microwave and drain. Return to bowl and add all flavour sachets (add less chilli if you do not like it hot). Mix together.
- Add cooked vegetables to the bowl of noodles and mix together well.
- Add slightly whisked egg to the bowl of noodles and vegetables and mix until the egg coats the mixture.
- Reheat the frypan up to medium/high and spray with a little oil. Add the noodle mixture to the pan and flatten out into a pancake that is about 1cm thick.
- Cook for about 8 min on one side - or until golden brown - then flip the pancake and cook for a further 8 min on the second side.
- Remove from frypan and place on serving plate. Top with ABC Kecap Manis, mayonnaise and fried onions.
- We enjoy this for breakfast but you can easily have it for a fast dinner. You can add bacon at Step 1 for a yummy meat alternative.
