
Ingredients
- 1 Pieces of white fish
- 1 Large potato
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Cup Obento panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika powder
- Sauce:1/2 cup Kewpie Mayonnaise, 1/4 cup finely diced cucumber, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 of squeezed lemon, pinch of salt & black pepper
- Garnish: Sliced lemon & sliced cucumber
Method
- Peel and slice potato into chips (about 1 inch thick). Rinse and put in the freezer for 2-3 minutes. Pat dry the chips with paper towel. Put them in the Air fryer, lightly spray with oil and cook 400F/200C for 20-25 minutes. Shaking over half time.
- For the fish, pat dry the fish with paper towel. Season with the salt, black pepper, garlic powder and paprika.
- Put panko in shallow bowl, in another bowl beat the egg
- Dip a fish fillet in the egg then place fillet in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil. Place the coated fish in the air fryer and spray again the top with oil. Air fry at 400F/200C or 12-15 minutes.
- For the sauce, combine all the ingredients in the bowl. Garnish with sliced of cucumber.
- Fish and Chips ready to served with the freshly homemade cucumber & mayo sauce.
